It was exactly 50 years ago when the legendary Canadian singer songwriter Neil Young released his landmark album Harvest to critical acclaim. “It was” he said in an interview, “About his own survival and loss of some of his close friends”. We find ourselves are unfortunately in such a situation in 2021. It’s about surviving by trying to save our planet as well as trying to cope with the pandemic.
One extremely potent question from the 26 year old Young as quoted in the song “Harvest” which policy makers around the world should be asking of themselves regarding Climate Change.

It’s been 50 years and counting – the grasp on Climate Change has been slipping through a succession of world industrial leaders and policy makers fingers for decades.
The primary reason I named my consultancy business “harvest moon solutions” was inspired by my fellow Canadian Neil Young’s “Harvest” because unless the amount of the toxic emissions and chemicals into the earth, sea and sky are greatly reduced – the quality of harvests around the world into the future will decrease dramatically for many reasons – such as rising sea levels and rainforest destruction

Partly as a result I’ve been a climate change activist ever since.
I have been involved in promoting renewable energy projects for over 20 years. I was instrumental in bringing biogas to N. Ireland 10 years ago. I’ve also been a successful consultant on environmental / agricultural/ issues with various EU General Directives during that time.
Harvest Moon Solution is about promoting ideas and businesses to ensure successful harvests for future generations.
